We are pleased to announce the start of our online KS4 Options process for Year 9 students. The options process will start on Monday 1 March and run until Friday 26 March 2021. A presentation from Mr Mckinstry explaining the overall process and individual presentations from subject leaders is available on our new KS4 Options page.
Following the recent announcements, here are the latest arrangements for the start of the Spring Term:
On Tuesday 15 December we held our first live-streamed Christmas concert with students taking part from Years 7, 8, 9 and 11 socially distanced in our school hall. Thank you to everyone who supported this event, with 251 streams we were able to raise £365 for our Music department.
The 12 Days of Quarantine - Warneford’s first virtual concert live from the school hall on Tuesday 15th December 2020 at 6pm.
Christmas is here again and we are trying to raise some funds for our Design Technology Department. We have been busy building houses, churches and our new product this year, an advent calendar.
Bringing Christmas cheer with our Santa-gram collection. The Charity Committee have been completely overwhelmed with the gifts that were sent in for the Santa-gram appeal.
Congratulations to the 6 students below who received first place in the SYFL competitions at Warneford and will now be entered in the Swindon-wide SYFL competitions, which include entries from all 13 Swindon Borough Council Schools.
Highworth Warneford School is proposing to reduce the number of students admitted into Year 7 from September 2022.
Highworth Warneford students have been given the exciting opportunity to be involved in selecting the Young People's Book Prize 2020. Joining with 52 other schools around the country, our student panel will review 6 STEM books which are aimed at young people.
