WRDE UP hitting the right notes with local piano students!
Local Highworth secondary school students are the recent beneficiaries of a wonderful donation. The funds for this fantastic Yamaha U1 upright piano worth over £3500 were kindly donated to Highworth Warneford school Music department by the WRDE UP music festival committee. The piano will benefit all students across years 7-11 including piano students who can now be taught on an industry standard instrument. Mr Hanson, head of Music at Warneford and Janet Hodgson, piano teacher, would like to publicly thank the committee for this amazing gift which will benefit students at the school for many generations to come. Pictured in the photo are piano students (from left to right) - Emma Hudson, Lydia Prior-Carter, Harriet Matthews, Samukelo Mthimunye, Oliver Dix and Lance Draper. Also in the photo is our additional piano teacher, Aniela Zylinski.
Please have a look at the Presentation and Information booklet.
Recently, Highworth Warneford School embarked on an unforgettable trip to FC Bayern Munich.
