GCSE Results 2021

Once again Highworth Warneford School is celebrating excellent GCSE results. Pupil progress is strong across a wide range of subjects.

Headteacher, Andy Steele said, “the last 18 months has brought so many challenges to our students, staff and parents and I am absolutely delighted by the outcomes that have been achieved. We have all had to adapt how we have worked and it was so important that the tenacity and endeavour of students and staff was fairly rewarded. This year’s cohort have been a real credit to our school and many of the individual achievements have been tremendous. Well done to the Class of 2021.”

 

Although all pupils did very well, there were some notable individual successes including:

Gemma Powell: 8 Grade ‘9’, 1 Grade ‘8’ and 1 Grade ‘7’

Elaina Sullivan: 7 Grade ‘9’, 2 Grade ‘8’ and 1 Grade ‘7’

Bethan Huband: 6 Grade ‘9’, 1 Stared Distinction and 3 Grade ‘8’

Jocelyn Todd: Grade A in AS Level English, 6 Grade ‘9’, 3 Grade ‘8’ and 1 Grade ‘7’

Ryan Kennedy: 7 Grade ‘9’, 1 Grade ‘8’ and 2 Grade ‘7’

Oliver Taylor: 5 Grade ‘9’, 1 Distinction, 1 Grade ‘8’, 2 Grade ‘7’ and 1 Grade ‘6’

James Andrew: Grade B in AS Level English, 3 Grade ‘9’, 4 Grade ‘8’ and 3 Grade ‘7’
