Year 11 Ski Trip to Folgaria, Italy

A group of 40 year 11 students recently travelled to Folgaria in Italy for a week skiing. After a long coach journey, the students arrived into the snowy town of Serrada and checked into the beautiful Villa Cristina. An early start followed the next morning as everyone enthusiastically hit the slopes in perfect sunny conditions, which would remain for the whole week.  The abilities of the group ranged from absolute beginners to a number of very experienced skiers.  Students spent the week under the instruction of highly experienced Italian ski instructors from the local ski school.  Regardless of ability, everyone threw themselves into the experience, made significant progress and had a brilliant time. As well as the skiing, students also took part in various evening activities including bowling, ice skating and a traditional Italian pizza night to complete an amazing trip, with unforgettable memories.  Mr Gibbons, Trip organiser.
