Warneford held the annual A/A* revision weekend on Friday 23rd March – Sunday 25th March at PGL Liddington. The weekend involved revision activities run by the Maths and Science teachers at Warneford, carefully chosen to support and guide students to help them maximise marks on exam style questions in order to secure success this summer. As a break from classroom revision, pupils also took part in various outdoor activities run by the enthusiastic PGL staff including raft building, vertical challenges and rock climbing. It was great to see our pupils fully involved in the wide range of activities over the weekend. Mr Blake, Head of Science Department.
Comments from students included:
“The weekend was really engaging and helpful to me as a student. The revision was really useful and helped me with exam technique as well as knowledge, which will hopefully give me the best possible grades in my Exams.” Aphra, Year 11.
“The activities were great fun and created a contrast with revision, but the study time was still fun and relaxed. I would definitely recommend it for future years.” Faye, Year 11.
